How to Jailbreak with RedSn0w

Well if you know a bit of Jailbreaking then you must be aware of the word RedSn0w. RedSn0w is the most popular jailbreak tweak in the market developed by the iPhone Dev Team. When it was made its name was QuickPWN but now has been changed and become the trademark. The said tool is available for Windows and Mac Computers.

RedSn0w is available to download from any of the website and it is a very minor tweak as you can get it in few seconds. When you will go for a download you will see many of the versions of the device and it is suggested that you should go for the latest version avaialble in the download list.

Well there are two kinds of the jailbreak, Tethered and Untethered. The RedSn0w offers both and to depends on the device you are using and on the version of the iOS firmware you want to jailbreak. Untethered jailbreak is mostly demanded because it lets you reboot your device with absolutely no need of performing a tethered boot with the help of a machine (PC or Mac). In case of tethered you have to connect it to the computer if it reboots because it will not be able to perform the typical functions.

Well the basic thing you need before jailbreaking your device is to put your device in DFU mode and here is a guide to let you know how to put it in DFU mode.

1) connect your device with computer.
2) Hold home = power button for ten seconds, simultaneously.
3) Now without releasing the home button, release the power button and do the same for 10 seconds.
4) Now release the home button as well and a completely black screen will appear and you are into DFU mode now.into DFU mode now.

If iTunes is configured to do so, iTunes will open and report that: “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.” If your screen is black and iTunes reports this message, this is a surefire indicator that you are successfully in DFU mode.

Well after that you have to choose from the guides we already have shared according to your device and the iOS version you are running on. You can follow the step by step procedure and get your device tethered and untethered jailbreak.
